Adam, who is presently a judge on the ITV talent program Starstruck, described the superstar’s heartbreaking Instagram revelation as “heart-wrenching.”
While he is best known for tunes like The Show Must Go On, he believes Adele was correct to postpone the long-awaited concerts.
“The video was difficult to watch because Adele is so honest and genuine,” Adam added.
“Any musician who has traveled knows that some things are out of your control at times.”
“She put herself into a position where the program was just not ready.”
“I believe, as I’m sure Adele does, that the concert is about the audience and their experience,” Adam said.
“If the artist isn’t happy with what they’re putting on stage, it will impair the audience’s experience.”
“Especially if you’re a single performer since it’s all about you.”
“It needs to be perfect, or else the viewers would not be satisfied.” I’m confident she’ll do all she can to get it back on track, and everyone will be treated to a fantastic concert.”
The American singer has been a favorite with TV viewers on the new show Starstruck, which premiered earlier this month.
The program, which is hosted by Olly Murs, involves teams of want tobe singers impersonating their heroes for judges Adam, Sheridan Smith, Jason Manford, and Beverley Knight.
And Adam, who was keen to add his “queer American sense of camp” to the panel, spoke about how he and Olly hit it off backstage.
ALBUM OF CONCEPTS
“He did X Factor in 2009 while I was doing American Idol,” he said. We’ve both been through that process and can trade notes.
“He’s such a wonderful man and an excellent host.” As a result, it was a pleasant bonding experience. We were sharing Simon Cowell anecdotes.”
For more than 10 years, Adam has toured with Queen luminaries Brian May and Roger Taylor, and he is eager to do it again this summer.
He’s also writing songs for a musical that will be released as a concept CD.
“It’s been fun making music for other people’s stories, and it relieves some of the strain,” Adam added.
“So much of the business revolves around the question of ‘How can I connect with people?’ ‘How do I establish a brand?’ This, on the other hand, has a more pure feel to it.
“Your product must sell and generate streams in order to be successful. However, with my most recent album, Velvet, I tried very hard to distance myself from that.
“This musical, I believe, is the next step in that path.”
THIS SUMMER, GIGS MAY RETURN.
According to reports, CAESAR’S Palace officials are in negotiations with Adele to reschedule her summer performances.
Keith Urban, the first of two blocks of Rod Steward shows, and a series of Sting concerts are all scheduled to take place at the Colosseum through June 18.
However, there is a break between Sting’s final show on June 18 and Rod’s first set of shows on September 23.
While Adele has already announced that she will perform at British Summer Time on July 1 and 2, Caesars hopes that she will return to Vegas soon after the performances.
“That is the schedule that makes the most sense,” one person commented.
“Talks are still underway, and it is hoped that Adele’s rescheduled dates will be finalized very soon.”
“She has said unequivocally that next year is not a possibility, and everyone is eager to set the dates.”
THROWBACK TO LILY’S PAMMY
LILY JAMES poses as Pamela Anderson from the smash Disney+ comedy Pam & Tommy in a flashback photo.
Last week, Lily shared a photo of the back of Queens of the Stone Age frontman Michael Shuman’s head on Instagram, implying that they were dating.
HOLLYWOOD TINDER SWINDLER BID
Simon Leviev, the Tinder Swindler scam artist, is attempting to get into Hollywood after selling customized films of himself online.
In addition to landing a top Hollywood agency, Gina Rodriguez, the Netflix doc star is keen to make it big in Hollywood.
“Simon plainly has no guilt or care for what the Netflix series did to him,” a source claimed.
“He views it as a chance to put his popularity to good use, and Gina is the appropriate person to help him along the way.”
“He’d want to go on a huge glittery program like Dancing With The Stars,” says the source.
In America, he has already begun selling his own PR narrative.
“I’m neither a phony or a scam,” he screamed. People don’t know who I am, therefore they can’t pass judgment.”

HARRY’S UP HARRY’S UP HARRY’S UP HARRY’
HARRY STYLES’ money has continued to rise after his departure from One Direction, with one of his companies’ assets increasing by £5 million.
Despite the fact that Harry was unable to perform live for over two years due to the epidemic, Erskine Touring has received a boost.
Accounts show that his firm had £9.4 million in assets at the end of March last year, up from £4.4 million the year before.
That number is expected to skyrocket next year when he embarks on his Love On Tour and is expected to release a new album.
Harry’s company, HSA Publishing, earned £2 million earlier this month, thanks to over £1 million in investments made by the actor.
Erskine Records, his other firm, will submit accounts later this year.
